So far I have only been given one egg. So incredibly frustrating. We have had them a complete week now. They all seem very calm so I'm not sure what the issue is but its driving me nuts. I'm about to have to go buy eggs from the lady I bought the chickens from lol uggggg I think the one egg we got was already in the pipes waiting to come out. I see them in the nests quite a bit but no eggs. The one I did get she laid in the dirt pan I have out there for them to take a dirt bath. They seem to love laying in the dirt pan lol I have been pretty much leaving them alone with the exception of opening the coop door to let them out, lock them in, and feeding. I thought maybe if I leave them alone they will feel less threatened. I put the golf balls in their nests to see if that helps and so far it hasn't. I think I'm going to get the fake eggs and see if that makes a difference. Very annoying buying chickens to have eggs only to end up with no eggs.
 
Were all you girls at point of laywhen you picked them up? Maybe the 22 week olds are not laying yet.
If you can, sit inside the run for a while with some treats. After they understand that you are safe and not going to chase them calmly walk toward them and see if they squat down and hold still. This behavior marks them as being receptive to a Roos attention and getting closer to starting to lay for the first time.
 
I have two that were laying and two that are about a month away from laying. I got them from a lady I buy eggs from so I know those two were laying. I know the stress of moving causes them to stop but man I was so hoping they wouldn't stop this long lol I know its only been a week but poo! I don't have a rooster but there were roosters where I got them from. God knows they clearly loved them by the lack of feathers on their backs. poor babies.

I guess I just need to gain some patience and wait it out. I knew the two young ones would be a while but the other two are very active layers. ugggg
