So i have 8 pullets and 1 cockerel, Rhode Island Reds, that all free range in our back yard. Our neighbors chickens, and ducks, have been hanging out with our chickens in our backyard pretty much everyday. Nothing wrong with that as they usually head back to the neighbors around 5pm. Tonight when i went to close up my winter coop i noticed that one of the neighbors chickens was by itself in an adjacent coop, which i use for the summer. I attempted to integrate 2 of my neighbors chickens with my flock a week or two back, but returned them as there was fighting. The fighting has since ceased for the most part so i was wondering if could just put that chicken with my others late at night, as i have heard that is one of the better times to do so. The chicken in question is the black one in the photo, they seem to get along quite well during the day now
