new chicken!!!

i bought a new chicken 1 week ago and i put her in with the chicken and they hit her but she hasn't been out all week should i put someting in to put away from her

If I'm understanding this correctly, you got a new chicken and your old chickens beat it up. So, you took the new one away. Is there a way that you could fence off part of the coop and run so that the new chicken and your old chickens can see each other but not touch each other for a while?

yes we did that last time we got new chickens but the women in that sold it to use said it will be ok

Whenever you introduce a new chicken, it will be at the bottom of the pecking order and it may get attacked. Did you have more success the last time you had new chickens and you kept them separated for a while?
Another reason to separate them is to avoid passing on any bugs or diseases until you determine your new bird is definitely healthy.
