New Chickens and Roosters

Hi, I am new to the site.

We have 10 chickens and two have just started to crow - so we have discovered they are roosters.

We are trying to see what we can do with them as we live in a small neighbourhood and we won't be able to keep them - in the suburbs.

Just trying to work out best options.

Also what age do they begin to mate. Thanks

Welcome, this is a fabulous site and you will find a ton of help here.. We use a no crow collar for our rooster. We live by A.S.U. In Tempe... Our neighbors acctaully love hearing him over all the noise pollution.. You can look on YouTube for the no crow collar... We love have him, he keeps them in check & you will see their comb start to turn red when the mature.. Post up in your area and you can meet some locals with great knowledge.. Chicken folk are wonderful at helping.
