I finally got the pullets I've been wanting, and traded the old hens for them. 8 pullets for 5 hens. That makes my number of chickens to 8, and the broody is sitting on barred rock eggs.
"where am I?!"

I have no idea why some of these are blury...
I THOUGHT they were gonna sleep on the roosts....
LOL, it is hard to tell that there is 8 pullets in there
And last but deff not least, mama connie on her barred rock eggs. (I pulled her off the nest for a little bit to put the eggs in thats why she looks a little wierded out)

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
