New chickens

Hello 19 new chickens and 14 guineas mixed breeds on the chickens I have yet to see the guineas as they were ordered yesterday.
We live in Northern Nevada and have an unbelievable Morman cricket problem this year we are hoping to make a dent in.
We have a 2”x4” by 4’ around our place includes a small vineyard and 20 fruit trees . We have also installed a heavy black plastic 12” barrier on our fence to prevent crickets from overrunning us. We have enjoyed the chicks and are looking forward to the hen house build.
