New Chickens!!

Hello everyone! I'm new to chicken keeping, and I'm already having problems with my chicken math. I thought I would start with about 6-8 chicks, but ended up with 18. This is how is starts right?!?
I've posting another thread with a few pics of some chicks I'm having a hard time sexing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
