New chickens

I bought 3 new chickens but the guy only spoke Spanish. We quarantined them for 2 weeks. I don't know what kind they are.

Hello, and welcome! I agree that they look like some type of mixes. I think that the last one there is a cockerel. I'm seeing those pointy feather's near the saddle area.

I understood enough that the red might lay red eggs!? Mixed is probably all we will get here. So many chickens and roos running around, everywhere.

The red one will likely lay brown eggs as it is probably a RIR or New Hampshire mix.

Seller said they were all hens. I have 3 roos already. Dont need another one.

At this point, I will take any colored egg.

All mixes and I would expect cream or brown eggs. The last is a cockerel and quite sick. I would suspect coccidiosis!

Now that I think about it, he does look sick.

Get some Corid and put it in their water. If I were you I would start a thread about it.
