New Chickens

Unfortunatley all of my chickens have died but one, we are going to get some more chickens when the new run is finished. My question is, how do you think my old chicken will react to the new ones? She is nine months and the new ones we're getting will be about six months. Thanks!!

Do you know what your chickens died from? If it was something contagious, any new ones will likely have the same problem.

I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I think if you can keep the new chickens separate from the old hen for the first few days, so they can have a good look at each other before integrating them, it will work out o.k. There will probably be a little bullying as they sort out their pecking order, but I think she will enjoy the company.
