New Chickie mommy. Help me out

My 10 RIR pullets will arrive next week. I am new to this, excited and a little nervous about doing things right. I have read everything I can find about raising chicks on the net. Here is my checklist:

Water trough as a brooder in the garage w/ wire top
Heat lamp
pine shavings
paper towels
thermometer
feeder
waterer
medicated chick starter
chick grit

Do I need any medications, vitamines, electrolytes etc? Any tips, suggestions, or comments are appreciated.

I like to have a packet of vitamins and electrolytes available in just case they have a tough trip.

Medications shouldn't be necessary till they are much older and even then, with luck, you won't need them.

Just don't worry about giving them the grit until they are eating foods other than their chick starter.
