New chickie mommy with adhd and anxiety ;)

I didn't think so. They look like pullets to me.
I assumed chickens of the same breed usually feather about the same rate. However most of them are starting to get a whole bunch of feathers with the exception of these 2. I do only have one Buff Opingtone so nothing to compare them to but the Sussex has a partner bought at the same time. That was why I was suspecting possible cockerels. Here is pics of the two Sussex side by side.

Welcome to BYC Anya!

3 weeks is a little too young to tell male from female in most cases. I remember my first batch of chicks, I was very concerned my wyandotte was an oopster for months! And last year's hatchery order I was worried about one chick who behaved very differently (she's just an airhead) Right now, nothing screams cockerel to me though.

I'm guessing these chicks came from a hatchery/farm store?
Difference in feathering can mean cockerel, but usually only if the line is specifically bred for it. Hatcheries generally breed for volume, without regard for specific traits, so a difference in feathering rate usually doesn't mean anything.
