New chickies!!! blue wheaten Amerucanas and barnevelders!

Well I didn't hatch them Mr. tailfeathers hatched them but I got chickies today! 5 Wheaten/blue wheaten Amerucanas and three barnevelder!

Off topic for a moment but I know that you won't mind......2 silkies have pipped and the 3rd is still rocking around. No news on your Marans yet.

Update on a brand new little chickie of yours that just hatched....1 silkie is out and it is doing great!!!!!!! Up and running almost immediately. Too soon to tell the color but what I can see is like a orangey buff color. Second baby is zipping and #3 is still rocking.

I haven't seen any movement in your Marans eggs since yesterday.

Temp is holding steady and humidity is at 66.

#2 is out and #3 finally pipped about 2 hours ago.

I will have to post pics for you later or tomorrow morning when they have fluffed. The second one looks like it has some sort of dark eyeliner. They are too cute.

I call them little Larry, Mo and Curly, Curly hatched last night around midnight and still has a little fluffing to do but all three are doing great.

I'm sad to report that nothing has happened with your Marans eggs. They are still in but if they don't do anything by tonight I have to remove them but will set them in the big incubator just in case until tomorrow morning.

Yes Ma'am they did hatch all on day 21 just like the read the users manual!!!!!

I set them all on the 10th of March the day you dropped them off.
The Marans eggs have done nothing but are still in. I should take them out today and I will crack them open if you don't mind to see if I can see what went wrong. I cracked open the mutt egg and the silkie eggs yesterday before tossing them, they were duds.

Oh BTW:
Just noticed that the last little baby to hatch has a right foot problem, I think it can be corrected, I am going to rig something up for it. The toes turn inward towards the other foot a little bit.

OHHHH and BTW AGAIN, the last 2 that hatched only have 4 toes not 5. The first one has 5.
