Question: my Buff i noticed had some blood on her backside, she had some driws on poop inwas keeping an eye on so i assumed she accidentally just pecked herself. She got a spa and poop removal and i realized its more likely the smaller "Ameracuna" (yeah- i know prob EE) is picking on her. We used a indirect hair dryer to warm and dry off Buffy but the whole time the little one was trying to peck the larger Buffs eyes.

Should i get more chicks since the littlest Peeps is apparently a little scrappy? Or at keast so Buff can catch a break? I felt so bad she was sleeping in my lap like ugh finally i needed a break!!

Hi, did you get your chicks at different times, it looks like the orange ish one is a little bit older? If you did the older one might be trying to take control over the younger one since it is older. If the older chick is hurting the younger one I would just separate them so the older one doesn't take it too far and hurting it to the point that it dies.

Hi,
If you do a forum search on "Bully Chick", you will find a wealth of info, experiences, and advice....Good luck,
Sue

Thanks y'all!

I was worried because it was the little one being a bully and the big one just looked tired. We got three more smaller ones today and it seems to have taken the heat off the bigger one. The sight of a little blood worried me the most but it looks like everyone is happy now. Thank you!
