Just bought 8 new, (supposed to be) Easter Eggers. The store says that's what they are...supposed to be pullets, too.

Awww! I have one EE that has the same stripey pattern (like the one in the back corner of the box, to the left), and one that was half brown and half gray (like his tummy was dipped in gray paint).

They are adorable! The one you are holding looks like she is wearing makeup!

They do look like some EE chicks I just hatched and in 6 months you should be getting some nice tinted eggs. EE's seem laid back too and have good personalities. I am sure you will enjoy them. Congratulations!

Good luck with that......all pullets. With eight chicks, there is no doubt atleast one mistake. Everytime I get 'sexed' chicks, somehow I usually end up with a new roo.

Hello to Florence, SC. I have an order in to MPC.com for Barred Rock, Cuckoo Maran, Salmon Faverolles, Red Star, Australorp and Exchequer Leghorns. They have BLRW available in May, date TBD and want to order some silkies and polish then too. Let me know if you want to add to the May order, I am only planning on getting 8/10 and shipping is the same up to 24 so...I could meet you halfway...just a thought

Yes, I am dubious. Guess I'll deal with that if/when the time comes, but for right now they are just the cutest little fluff balls!
