Bought 4 2 day old amerecauna chicks and they are doing well in their brooder at 80 degrees. What should I be looking out for? I've raised hens but not chicks in a long time.

80 might be a tad cool, but as long as they're milling around, they're fine. Clumped under the heat, too cold, as far away from the heat as possible, too hot.
Are they really Ameracaunas or are they easter eggers?

Pasty butt - where manure sticks to their fluff and can cause vent blockage. Soak a paper towel with some warm water and apply to the butt so the manure softens and you can remove. Some people like to put the chick in a small container of warm water for a minute or two to soften. Just do what works best for you.
