Double R gets thier chicks from a hatchery in New Mexico. They wont tell which one but I think its Privett hatchery. I ordered 25 white leghorn pullets from them in october and they sent me california white leghorns. I called and complained and they sent me 25 more for free and they were STILL california whites. I decided to just keep them but I still called to let them know that the hatchery wasnt doing their job. I will never order from them again.

What is the difference?

I got 2 RIR and they are very sweet girls . They will be 2 years old in spring and are very good layers. Congrats on your new babies
