new chicks, eye problem - help

Hello All!
I am really new here. Really new to chickens. Our little chicks arrived today! They are adorable. 6, all different breeds. Tonight we noticed our EE doesn't want to open one eye. It was open earlier. She can open it. If I gently wipe it with a damp cloth she opens it and keeps it open for a little while. I noticed that the eyelid appears red compared with the other eye, but you really have to look for it. Any thoughts? Anything I should do? They are on unmedicated feed. Should I get them on medicated?

I haven't yet figured out how to post pics on here. I will work on it. Honestly though, it just looks like a chick with her eye shut. The redness is very hard to see. I would have never noticed it if I wasn't looking. If there is any swelling, it is very minor. Any ideas? I will try to get a picture up.

She may have just gotten pecked by another chick. That would cause a small amount of redness and, of course, discomfort.
