I'm new to chickens, I've ordered some chicks from our local co-op but I am also interested in getting a few different breeds from the local TSC or Farm & Home store to add some diversity to our flock and the egg basket. Is this okay, or will it cause any problems? Our order from the co-op will be here April 12th, so I would get the others either that same day or the day after or before (whichever works best). Let me know, please and thank you! I think I may already be addicted...

You should be ok with day olds (or couple day olds) - as long as they are the same size.

Where you have issues is adding different sizes or as they are a bit older, mixing them together without some quarantine time.
