I picked up my chicks today! Rufus is a RIR I am positive. I am not sure what Oreo is however. Anyone have any ideas? I am very excited. They don't seem to be able to find their food or water. This is a concern for me.

You can try dipping their beaks into the water again, or put a marble or two in the basin so they see something 'interesting' in there to investigate. As for the food...lay a paper towel down and sprinkle a bit of the crumbles onto it. Chicks are pretty curious and tend to peck at anything shiny or different...basically, anything that stands out.

The little guys are asleep right now, but when they wake up, I'm going to try to teach them to find their food and water!
