New chicks in Austin, TX

Hello,

My name is Marty and although I've been reading and learning so much from this site for the past couple of months, I just joined today. I also brought my first chicks home this morning. A Dominique, Welsummer and Buff Orp. I'm already having a blast, although it's really stressing my Miniature Pinscher out. I'm sure she'll warm up to them.

Just wanted to say a quick hello and look forward to being part of the group.

Did you get your birds from Buck Moore? Those are the breeds I saw them announcing on Facebook that they just got in. I'm about a month into my first flock of chicks, myself. I got some Ameraucanas, a Wyandotte, a Barred Rock, and a Red Sex-Link from Buck Moore. It's been an adventure! I knew chickens would be interesting, but I didn't realize they'd be hilarious. These girls are a blast to hang out with!
