We drove a few hours yesterday morning to arrive a feed store in Escondido,CA (as a suggestion from a another forum member -- Thanks Tamlynn!) since we gathered that they had a good selection of breeds. We arrived and in fact they did have a good selection.. We ended up choosing 2 araucana's that appear to be about 1.5 weeks old and two BO's that were a bit larger and probably 2 or perhaps 2.5 weeks old. Below are a few photos..

Here's a pic of what I'm wondering might be a future rooster?? Any ideas on whether that could be? The 2nd BO does not exhibit this same comb growth.. This particular chick is the noisy one if that helps..

Comments?

It's too soon. That's not enough comb to be alarmed by yet. Try back in a few weeks!

Being noisy also doesn't have any bearing on gender. I've got plenty of noisy girls!
