New chicks- light and heat questions (plus pics)

So I picked up 3 Wheaten Marans today. The guy told me they were 5 or 6 weeks old. Right now they're in a brooder in the spare bedroom where it's 70 degrees. I'm assuming this is warm enough, is that correct?

Also, I've also got some seeds starting in there for my garden, and the fluorscent grow light goes 24 hours. Do I need to turn it off at night?

Yes those birds are pretty much fully feathered and should be fine at room temps. Watch them. If they huddle up a lot you might consider adding some extra heat, but I wouldn't think it should be necessary.
