I am going to hazard a guess on a few, I see several BR and maybe a couple EEs.....anyone else, I am not familiar with red chicks...pretty new to this, only had black chicks so far, and the 16 I have now, all mixed...gold star pullets, Calif white...etc....so lets see if someone else can identify the rest!

Yes, there is some Barred Rock pullets. Not suppose to be any EE's.

The chipmunk looking ones are EEs or Ameraucanas (spelling?).

Those chipmunk looks like silver laced wydonnets (sp) barred rocks, maybe some red sex link and buff orphingtons are my guess. I don't see any EE's

I would say you got a whole lot of cute chicks. I agree some EE's and BR. I think the red ones could be BO or RIR but it depends on what the hatchery sells too. In the first pic it looks like the one little guy has a green stripe on his head! Is that just your camera or my eyes??

I see the green stripe too! LOL A NEW BREED!!

I just purchased 3 EE's that is why I said yours look familiar, mine looked just like that as new chicks...now about 3 weeks old.

Cuties...whatever they all are!

SO adorable! Just wanted to mention that it can be dangerous to put them on newspaper (it's slippery and can cause serious leg problems at this age). Paper towels or pine shavings are a safer, better choice. Enjoy those little cuties!

Hi all.... lol the green stripe. They marked the 1, read that one, RIR roo that I ordered. I am afraid it looks like they may have given me more than one, lol. There is suppose to be 5 BR, 5 Gold Stars, 3 SLW, 3 RIR pullets and 1 RIR roo. I ordered this way because I am trying to set myself up for next year. The RIR roo x BR = BSL. The RIR roo x SLW = RSL, RIR roo x RIR = RIR. The Gold stars just because they are good layers.

Oh and I had just went out and taken them off the newspaper. I never keep them on longer than a few hours. Just long enough that they figure out the feed is not the wood shavings.
