New Chicks! Updated Pics added

I have two new babies from Michelle (goldensunriseranch) . They are grey silkies. They are so cute. And both have nice feet and nice vaults.

Will try to get better pics once I can take them out of that box and into better light.

Thanks, you should see the babies I got from you. I only kept two because all of them were boys except one pullet, but here are some pics of the two I kept and she is laying and I put some eggs under a silkie yesterday. Will keep you posted.

Awww Marie, they are so cute. Nice vaults too! Are you sure they are grey? They look more partridge in the pics. Very sweet regardless.

Those aren't gray silkies I don't think. I have some gray ones and they look silver when they hatch and also have some of these and they turn red in color.

Yes, certain these are greys. I do not do partridge at all. Hens are greys and the sire is white to improve type. They will mature grey, sometimes a bit darker than the moms but definitely not partridge, I've repeated this breeding lots of times.

Thanks everyone. I love them so much. I agree they do look partridge, but I have never raised greys or partridge so what do I know. If michelle says they are grey, I trust that they are. I look forward to watching them mature. Very nice vaults on both and nice feet to boot. Thanks for the pics of the parents michelle, very beautiful birds. Can't wait for fall so I can try again with the whites.
