New Chicks

I got some new chicks and my dad is saying they are old enough to go with the older chickens but even the 9 month old bantoms that are tiny are pecking them and but the chicks a got are only a few weeks old

They're old enough to go outside, but not old enough to go in with mature chickens.
You need separate housing till they are like sizes.
I moved a 10 week pullet into housing with all other10 week old birds and they killed her the first morning before I could let them out.

Chickens are deadly serious about pecking order and new birds are not welcome - you need a slow " look but, don't touch," integration. Put that in the search box.
