Very exciting news today everyone! I just got nine (yes, nine :th) new chicks! I got 6 from Tractor Supply, and 3 from Meyer Hatchery. From Tractor Supply, I got 6 straight run Jersey Giants. I have a home set up for any roosters I end up with, since I can't keep them. I decided to risk it with straight run because they had the exact breed we were looking for. And from Meyer, we got an assorted Polish (random color), a light brahma, and a silver laced Wyandotte. The polish actually ended up being the exact color that I wanted (blue)! We've being wanting a Brahma for such a long time, and the Wyandotte was just a random addition. I am SO excited. I'll post some pictures so you all can see the little guys :D

Oh my goodness! Babies are the best :) Where are they going to live once they get a bit older? Oh, and also could you post a pic of your brooder setup? I'm getting chickens next year and the brooder is still a bit hazy for me. Enjoy your peeps while they're fuzzy!
Sincerely,

Aren't they the cutest! I love chicks. I'm in the process of designing a new coop, and we just finished a new run. I'll post a picture of my brooder, and I'll link an article that's awesome on here. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Had a red polish rooster once, normally not a fan of toppy & muff birds but he was free and he looked super cool, wings colored like a Indian red jungle fowl. Very beautiful roosters
Sounds very pretty! I'm a huge fan of extra feathery birds :)
