New chicks

My granddaughter and I went and got fourchicks today. They are not the Easter eggers we are waiting for, they will be here next week. We got 4 sapphire gems. They are so cute. I’m like a new mother hen I’m so nervous. This is my first time with chicks. I’ve always got them at about 12-14 weeks old. I was told they are all hens. I’m posting pics, if anyone has any opinions I’d be grateful . One of the store workers that walked by said they were not sapphire gems because those are only grey so the lady helping us called another employee and she said those are sapphire gems before anybody said anything. They had other kinds also golden comets, black americanaus and 2-3 more kinds. I wanted a couple of all..
I was strong and controlled myself and my 13 yr old grandaughter. Lol

Those are not sapphire gems, the employee who said they are always grey is correct. I don't know what they are though. Mystery chickens are fun to figure out! It might be easier to determine once they start laying. I thought my mystery rescue white chicken was a legbar but she lays brown eggs, so she ended up being a white rock.

They kinda look like they might be cream legbars...here's what mine looked like at that age. They're sex link by coloring, so if they are cream legbars they are all hens. They lay medium size blue eggs too that are just adorable
