New chicks

I hatched 7 chicks in March and when I put them out with the flock no one was fighting, however they would normally spend all day at the coop staying cool under the trees or waiting for me at the gate to the chicken yard.

So sweet. Mine run to me when I go out. They like to sit on my knee and my shoulder. I just adore them. Happy to know others are going through the same thing.

For what ever reason only one of my hens out of the few that actually come up to me would climb on me. Her name was Fluffbum, but sadly she got attacked by a stray cat that has killed all my neighbors polish chicks!

Sounds like that cat needs rehoming.

If I said rehome it to the bottom of a lake, someone would probably be offended. So, I won’t say it.
