New Chicks

Our Lavender Rooster cross with 4 Isa Brown and 2 Lavender and 1 i have no clue hens..

Love these chicks, very hardy but fearful...ideas on helping their anxiety?
They are about 2 weeks old. It's been years since we raised any..like the old Styrofoam incubator and manually turn eggs, watch temp, keep water in bot..it was not easy. Love these new ones!! Super easy.. we have 18 in it now.

Do you know what the temperature is under the lamp and in the corner where they are in pic?

My first thought seeing the pic... it looks too hot.​

No they were scared of me...when I first went in they were scattered all over. The minute I leaned over they ran to opposite side of me and lamp
