So excitied had 10 eggs in incubator and 8 have hatched and one more on the way.They are a day old are they ready for food?Just put them in a brooder at 9.00 pm and they are doing good.Thanks Sandy

Sure they are ready for food. Though they don't need any for a day or so - it never hurts to have plenty of food & water available to them. Just make sure it is chick starter!

Congrats, yes they can live for up to 3 days just on absorbed yolk but we like to get them started right away! Can't wait to see pics!!!
