New Chicks

Here are my new chicks, 3 weeks old. They were from cackle hatchery and are welsummers,buff orpington , EE and Partridge Rocks.
I never have had these breeds and am looking forward for them to start laying eggs.

Pattypenny, I was going to get some of those metal feeders today from the feed store, do they hurt the chicks beaks? Or are they really safe?

my chicks have no problem with the metal feeders. when they get larger I use a different kind of feeder.

Awww, they're cute!

Just a few days older than my little peeps. I love when they're this age--they're so funny and energetic! They look so happy in their brooder--lots of room!
