hello, any advice how to add new chicks to free range flock?

My hens get locked up in their coop and cage area at night. They are let out in the morning and free range all day until bed time.
I want to add some more to flock but how do I intergrate them when I leave the caged area and coop open all day so the existing flock can return for their food and water during the day....and lay their eggs?

Any advice is appreciated

Setup a second, smaller coop for the new chicks making certain it is predator resistant. Ask questions elsewhere on that. Allow the chicks to acclimate for a few days to new coop before releasing for first time. ideally in the evening a couple hours before dark. The young birds will not range with older for some time and you need to make adults do not deny them access to the coop.
