New Chiken owner

Hello people,I'm a soon to be chiken owner

! I will be geting a barred rock,an australorp and a gold star.any tips about those breeds? do any of you have those breeds?

I had a Barred rock. Loved her, we got her with a Rhode Island Red and White Leghorn as little chicks. She was so friendly and layed nice brown eggs. But then one day she wandered away and I couldn't find her. It was a sad day. But I just recently got another one. This one is about 5 months old I got her with 4 other Buff Orphingtons about 2 months ago. I just had to have a least one Barred Rock.

I have a barred rock, 2 buff's and 1 EE. Thelma, the "rock" is the queen-bee of the flock....very bossy and very big girl!
