Hi all, some of the chix have hatched the past 2 days, 2 batches of eggs, 2 hens brooding. The breeds are bantams BR, OEG Cochin X Seabrights. The standard eggs are OEG/cochin bantam X with full size Sussex/Barred Rock hens.
I have 1 of the hens with 3 chix, in the pics, the Momma is purebred Black Rosecomb bantam, the chicx are bantam/full size X and Bantam X..... I do have Black Rosecombe purebreds, but am thinking of getting Icelandic purebreds too, and maintaining pure flocks of those 2 types...
