wow that looks great! your chickens will love it and i think it looks pretty well built i am building one too and i am building it out of leftover chainlink panels from my old dogs kennel the only tips i have for u r to make sure that it is reinforced from predators and that u make sure your chickens can easily move around which is probly already done so bravo fellow chicken owner or soon to be its all the same thing.

That looks great! You could certainly put a roost in the run, if you wanted to. Good job thinking to cover it, runs can get muddy FAST. My pair of knee-high rubber boots can tell ya that, lol.

I think they'd love a roost in the run! You could use a real tree limb! Looks like a great place to keep a few birds (not the chicken kind), too! Finches maybe!

I'm not sure what your run is fenced with, but unless it is 1/2" or 1/4" hardwarecloth, I would not put a roost out there. You don't want to tempt predators unduly with birds that decide to sleep al fresco; and you REALLY don't want a roost that can be reached by a grabby raccoon arm (fits through 1" mesh!), horrible consequences.
