It's more secure than our coop was, and we've only lost a handful. We live in the middle of the woods, though. And the one's we lost were the brilliant ones that escaped the run (lord only knows how) and went broody while hidden in the woods.
Long story short, if we got all the hens in at night we never lost one. Only losses were at night, learned that the hard way.
