I was thinking of getting one of these sheds or something similar, putting in nesting boxes, perches, etc. Our flock is only 4 chickens right now, so this would be more than enough space compared to the coops we were originally looking into. They will also have access to a run as well.
I'm just wondering if y'all have any thoughts or ideas on how to make sure it doesn't become a furnace in the summer?

The tin will definitely heat right up in the summer. You would be better off with a wooden shed. Easier to also add windows, and doors to a wooden structure.
We were thinking that too, we'd love to find one within the same price range but unsure if we will.
My hubby said he's willing to put in the work (insulation, more airflow vents, etc). I'm just thinking space wise this would be far better than a little coop?

Personally I would go with something larger (8x10+) and as @oldhenlikesdogs mentioned something made out of wood.

I don't believe we have the room for an 8x10 and luckily dont plan on expanding our flock for a bit. I looked into wood sheds, they are very pricy unless I'm not looking in the right places.

How much room do you have? Besides the coop, you need a run of at least (recommended) 10 sq ft/chicken.
We have plenty of room for a run and they will be free range in the yard as well. The coop will be going next to another shed and garden space, that is what makes the coop space a little bit limited. We thought about just making part of the current wood shed into a coop, which might still be an option but it seemed like a better idea to just give the chickens their own space, unless perhaps we get the metal shed and move some of our stuff into that to be able to make part of the wood shed a coop? Unsure yet.

I know that many people choose yo build a Hoop Coop, if they don’t want to spend much money.
There is at least one in the article section.
I've seen those! I just dont really understand, they dont have a place for the chickens to roost and nest? At least the ones ive seen? also how do they keep them warm in the winter? cause our winters our pretty cold here (not the coldest). I'd have to look into it more.

I have to agree with the others - wood is the way to go when you need to make modifications (which you will with any pre-built building). Have you searched on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace for wooden sheds?

Also, where in general are you located?
