Congratulations on the new coop!
I hang my feeders/waterers and they do stay cleaner and there seems to be less waste. I have a red/white plastic hanging waterer that can be plugged in. It worked great last winter but it doesn't seem like something that's going to last me very long. Watering chickens in the winter is no fun even in the south. It's one of those 6 AM chores that makes you wonder how you ever got yourself into this.
