We finally finished our conversion. Thank you for all your previous posts and helpful suggestions. We took ideas from all over this forum and our coop turned out great. Here are before and after pictures. We still need to paint. Also we may put a screen window in the other door because it turned out so well on the new door. There are 7 nesting boxes with access from outside the coop. 15 feet of roosting area with a poop shelf below. The door is on pulleys and can be opened and closed from outside the coop. There are a total of 16 ' by 6" closable vents under the roof eaves plus 24" x18" gable vents on the front and back.
it's evident lots of thought and preparation has gone into that. What colour are you going to paint it? Barn red? Everyone on here is SO helpful and knowledgeable and I got lots of ideas and help for my coop and run on here too x
