You get to move to the head of the class for this one. Very nice job. You MUST of had fun doing this project. You must have been down right giddy when the idea for the camera came about. I love it. Have you watched them yet? I am just surprised (from all the reading I have been doing on here) that you can put that many chickens in there. (I guess there is some type of chicken math that I have to learn). But anyways, beautiful job.

Thanks. It is 10 feet long, 4 feet high at the peak and 4 feet deep (front to back). Run are is 10 feet by 4 feet and the roost area is 2 1/2 feet by 10 feet.

Yes I did. And thank you very much. Yes, I check on them quite often with the camera. The nice thing about the camera is that I can have the light off and I can still see them as if the light is on. Pretty amazing. As for the number of chickens. I have 40 sq ft of run space and about 28 sq ft of roost space. They are young, so not full grown yet. I went by the formulas.....Run - Adult Chickens need at least 5 sq ft per bird so 9 chickens is 45 sq ft........Roost - Adult chickens need at least 3 sq ft of roost space so 9 chickens is 27 sq ft. I am aware that I will need to part with 2 (if not 3) chickens when they get close to full size. I have a friend and a relative that are both thinking about getting chickens (I think I have them convinced), so I will be able to find a good home for those I have to part with.
