New Coop floor covering (under the bedding over the floor boards)

I know this topic has been talked about but I would like to hear specifically from people who have use vapor barrier (6mil) or roofing tar on their floor.

I have a 10.5 x 4.5 coop that has a wood floor. Winter here can be pretty hard so they may decide to stay inside alot. I would like to cover the floors and possibly the walls for easy spring spray out.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
