Hello everyone. I'm going to build a new coop for this spring. I drew a blueprint about months ago, and it's perfect. But this is the first time to build a coop, so I wish if anyone could give me some tips.
Thanks.

Build bigger than you think you actually need. Seems like MOST people end up with more chickens than they originally planned on keeping...Chickens are addictive! Do you have any specific concerns you wanted addressed?

I have no idea what type of tips you are looking for. If you have specific questions there are a ton of people on here that can give you help but you really need to give a bit more information. You might look through this. It's the sticky at the top of this section.

Here are some articles I think should be required reading for anyone building a coop should read. The cold weather one may not apply to you but the other two sure do.

None. I'm going to raise 30 chickens this year. Thanks!
