new coop for valentines

Treated post and 2x6 around the edge for the band. Also treated 2x4 around the pen to nail hardware cloth to. Everything else is not treated except the floor its advantech flooring very durable. I'm thinkin plywood 1ft high inside from floor and rolling a rubber roof coating on the floor and sides a foot. Not sure though definitely putting sand in there. Thinking this rubber coated floor will protect very well and wash out easy. Gonna cover the poop boards to. Probably do metal on outside walls of coop and gabel ends. Wanna paint the rest of the coop under the roof hang old saw blades and designs

2x6 floor joist on 2ft centers with blocks and same on rafters. Very steady and tough built. Its a 22x22 all together 14x12 coop 14x10 run with floor high enough to go under the coop. The front is 8x22 patio gonna have a porch swing and eventually a small brooder room 6x6 insulated just for chicks.

I asked for & was surprised with a new coop for Valentine's Day too! Assembled it today. Yay!

Anyone got any ideas for 1/2 hardware cloth where to buy cheapest at need lots of it

Try Amazon, Wayfair, and ebay. I don't know how far it would be for you, but there's a place in Pa that sells on ebay, they manufacture it and sell their overs pretty reasonable, but then you have freight, if its close enough to pick it up it may be a good deal. Wafair is free shipping, I don't know about Amazon. Who's cheapest at the time changes.
