Thanks for all the great responses! After keeping these large fowl in a 2'x6' box, they surely do appreciate the large coop area! Roosting time used to be a fighting match to see who could rip off each others combs the fastest and get the best spot on the short roost bar. Now in this new coop, the bar is 8 feet in length! And they hop right up and settle in very quickly at night. The frost bitten combs are healing nicely as well.
They did however, have a 20'x30' garden area to roam in and had taken over my greenhouse before. So their roaming space has shrunken down somewhat. But they don't seem to mind, and are content in their new quarters, AND I got my garden and greenhouse back! Can't wait to start gardening again.
