New coop ideas

What would you reccomend for a coop that will be built by just me and my mom. We arent very skilled with building, well, im not at least. Would you recommend buying an old shed off someone and modifying it like we did with out current one, or just build a small one from scratch? It doesnt need to be very big, maybe enough for 2 silkies and 2-4 cochins(probably 2). It needs to be plenty warm for winter use, and will have an inclosed run attached. Any suggestions?

Just had an idea: It doesnt need to be incredibly insulated if it can be lightweight, so that we can bring it in the basement for the winter

If you don't have the proper tools or access to the proper tools then I would watch Craigslist or such and see if you can find an extra large dog house to modify. Since you don't need something real large that might be the easiest option.
