New coop in progress!! Updated Pic pg. 2

Ok, here it is with the wire on it and some of the new residents. These are all chickens I got at the auction last weekend, so they're under quarantine right now. But once they're out of quarantine I'm going to split this pen into 3 breeding pens for 3-4 birds (bantams) each. That will be 30 square ft per pen. Then DH and I are going to build a little mini coop for each section. For now they'll have to make do with the dog house. What do you think?

The auction I went to this time is down in Lakeland, FL. I just happened to find out about it when I was visiting my parents. I wish I knew of a good one around here b/c they're a lot of fun. And I got a beautiful pair of Buff Laced Polish for $10!!!

Tonight there is a small animal auction on Ramona Blvd. in Jacksonville. They have it the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. You can buy and sell small animals and sometimes they have used supplies also. I'm going to try and go this evening.
