New Coop Inside Setup

Couldn't really find an ingredient list...Q&A says Sand and DE.
Pretty pricey. Another product with 'chicken' in the label increases price exponentially.
Saw zeolite packaged for chickens today at TSC for about $5-6 per pound, same thing in horse aisle is less than half of that.
So true! I almost bought the stuff made for chickens when I saw the horse sweet pdz for much less. I also noticed they had pine shavings for chickens at about double the price, but about half of the amount you would get by buying the tsc bag. So, maybe that's triple the price when you figure it up. Outrageous!

I saw the small bale of shavings too...not sure if it's just quantity or 'chicken' on the label.

Do you use that Sweet PDZ for chickens instead of dirt? I have to find something to put into their coop because the ground is about to freeze.

I use it on their poop tray. It's to absorb moisture and stuff.
Is the coop floor dirt? You could maybe try the deep litter method to keep them happy and able to scratch at something.

I have pine shavings on the floor of their coop because it's a modified pair of resin sheds.
