Hi,
I have 3 hens that are a year old, we have had since chicks. Well we just bought them a nice big coop with so much more space and much warmer. Due to how our house is we had to put it on the opposite side of their other coop. We left them in it a few days but every time I let them free range they go back to the other side of the yard/old coop that is closed. How long does it take for them to adjust to the new coop? I had left them out the other day on accident and found them huddled up by the old coop getting rained on when the new one was open for them. We haven't moved the old one yet just due to time and rain.
Also they have stopped laying. Is this due to the change? How long until they lay again?
Pic of my girls and the new coop. Thanks!
