My husband and I are in the process of adding a barn off the back of our garage. It is mainly shelter for our cows, but I am able to have one end of it for a new hen house! So exciting! This is a picture of what we are starting with. Now...all of the things I have read and studied up on I have the ability to do. I guess I really have to decide what is going to work for me! The hen house will be in the end that has the boards showing on the outside. We have a gate and will have a fenced in chicken run. As we build, I'll post some updated pics.
