My husband started building our chicken coop by hand about 3 weeks ago. He works during the week so he has spend every weekend working on it. He finally finished it today and we love it! I wanted to share it with everyone on this forum because I am super proud of him. We didn't have a plan laid out. He just had an idea in his head and went with it. I guess it helps that he does construction for a living. The whole thing is enclosed and secured to prevent predators from getting in. Our little babies love it!! Hoping to get some nesting boxes in a few weeks when they are ready to lay. We still have little things we want to add here and there but other than that she is done and I can't wait to go out and sit with my girls everyday.
